Levels 1–12 (Act 1)
- Start path: nearest bow or projectile damage from your class start.
- Take every efficient life node within 2 points of your path — never skip life for 4% damage.
- Level 8–12: aim for first notable that boosts attack speed or projectile damage.
- Do not respec in Act 1 unless you bricked the tree — points are scarce.
Levels 13–25 (Act 2)
- Complete Act 2 ascendancy trial before heavy passive investment past life nodes.
- First ascendancy allocation: Twister-scaling nodes (projectile damage, attack speed, or Deadeye-specific bonuses).
- Continue life every 3–4 levels; target 80–100% increased life from tree by Act 2 end.
- Avoid chaos or elemental conversion nodes until maps — campaign wants raw projectile scaling.
Levels 26–40 (Act 3–4)
- Second ascendancy trial: complete remaining Deadeye points toward clear speed.
- Add critical chance nodes only if your bow already has crit base or ass mark setup.
- Pre-Doryani checkpoint: 8+ life nodes, projectile cluster, 2-link Twister minimum.
- Entering maps: prioritize life and resist nodes over marginal damage — first map deaths are survivability issues.
When to Respec
Community respec rule: if you die more than once per zone in Acts 3–4, spend regret orbs on life nodes before damage. Twister Deadeye rarely needs full tree resets — incremental life fixes are cheaper and faster.
